1. Merchant of record
Premium subscriptions are sold by Paddle.com as merchant of record. Paddle handles payment collection, invoicing, applicable taxes, and the customer billing portal. Your payment method will show a charge from Paddle, not directly from brains.gg.
2. Cancel anytime
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Paddle billing portal (linked from your Premium page or account menu when subscribed). Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not remove access immediately.
After you cancel, Premium features remain available until the end of your current paid billing period (shown as "Access until" on your Premium page). When that period ends, your account reverts to the free tier automatically.
3. Refunds
7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund of your most recent payment within 7 days of that charge. Email [email protected] from your account email within the window and we will process the refund through Paddle. This applies to your initial purchase and to each subsequent renewal charge.
After the 7-day window: Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer law or at our sole discretion for clear billing errors (duplicate charges, charges after a confirmed cancellation, etc.). We do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial billing periods when you cancel mid-cycle — you retain access through the period you already paid for.
4. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Paddle may mark the subscription as past due and retry collection. While past due, Premium access may continue for a short grace period until the current billing period ends or payment is resolved, consistent with Paddle's dunning process. If payment cannot be collected, the subscription will lapse and Premium access will end.
5. Paused subscriptions
If a subscription is paused (where supported), Premium features are suspended until the subscription is resumed or the billing period ends, whichever comes first.
